Photo Gallery and Species Biology
A very similar species is Carea nebulifera Warren, 1912.
OD: Carea nebulifera Warren, W. 1912. New Noctuidae in the Tring Museum mainly from the Indo-Oriental Region. Novitates zoologicae : a journal of zoology in connection with the Tring Museum. Vol. 19. Pg. 40.
The discrepancy with the OD and Carea nebulifera at MON Part 3, pl 86/32 is as follows: transverse black lines across forewing are pale-edged, innerside for post medial line and outerside in ante medial line. This is lacking in MON Part 3, pl 86/32 image as well. This leads to be believe that the ID in MON is incorrect, and that individual, too, is Xenochroa biviata. [SS].
