Polyptychus Hübner, [1819] species known from India.
Polyptychus trilineatus Moore, 1888. India: Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim, S. India; Sri Lanka; Bhutan.
Polyptychus dentatus ([Cramer, 1777]). India: S. India, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Maharshtra, Sikkim, West Bengal; Sri Lanka; Myanmar.
Polyptychus sonantis (Jordan, 1930). India: SW Ghat; Karnataka.
Melichar et al. (2021) raised Polyptychus sonantis (Jordan, 1930) to species level.
Note: These individuals of Polyptychus Hübner, [1819] have the post-medial line far more convex than other individuals of Polyptychus trilineatus Moore, 1888 and might represent a different species.
