Note: These two individuals, media codes bq153 and cs007 are possibly two undescribed species of Pitama Moore, [1888] from India. They do not match either Pitama lativitta Moore, [1888] known from India or Pitama hermesalis (Walker, [1859]), which is extralimital to India.
http://www.pyralidsofborneo.org/index.php?pitama-moore mentions the presence of a unnamed species in the Natural History Museum, London as "RTS (1994: 177) refer to an unnamed sp. in the NHM which is slightly smaller than P. hermesalis and has a much darker yellow ground colour. The abdomen tip of the female is purplish brown".
