Photo Gallery and Species Biology
Nymphicula junctalis (Hampson, 1891) differs from Nymphicula blandialis (Walker, 1859) in having a costal band to which the basal band, triangular medial patch and sub-apical and sub-marginal streak are all joined; all these markings have dark borders and are white suffused with black scales, except the marginal band, which is white. Five marginal spots instead of four.
Note: Shyam Ghate, Sandeep Ranade and Rajesh Prabhakar Mahajan’s image have five marginal spots, not four and may be N. junctalis.
