Metanastria hyrtaca (Cramer, [1779]). India; Nepal; Myanmar.
Metanastria gemella has the FW postmedial fascia much closer to the pale line at the outer edge of the dark medial band, hence separating it from aconyta in male. Metanastria aconyta has broader dark medial band in male.

(Rubiaceae), Eucalyptus globulus, Syzygium jambos, Syzygium cumini, Eucalyptus globulus (Myrtaceae), Guazuma ulmifolia (Malvaceae), Madhuca longifolia var. latifolia, Madhuca longifolia, Manilkara sp., Manilkara zapota, Mimusops elengi (Sapotaceae), Nyctanthes arbor-tristis (Oleaceae),Schima wallichii (Theaceae), Shorea robusta (Dipterocarpaceae), Terminalia catappa, Terminalia tomentosa (Combretaceae), Anacardium occidentale (Anacardiaceae), Bischofia javanica (Phyllanthaceae), Gmelina arborea (Lamiaceae),Moringa oleifera (Moringaceae), Morus alba (Moraceae), Pinus kesiya (Pinaceae) (Robinson et al. 2010).
