Orphanostigma vibiusalis (Walker, 1859).
FBI, Hampson, Vol. 4, pg. 280, # 4826.
OD: Botys vibiusalis Walker, 1859. Pyralides. – List of the Specimens of Lepidopterous Insects in the Collection of the British Museum, London 18: 509–798. Pg. 634.
The only issue I have is that the TL is Congo, Africa, though Hampson (and other S. Indian literature) report it from Nilgiris and Rangoon, I wonder whether it is the same species.

Agreed regarding the possibility of these being different species considering the vast difference between the two ranges & type of habitat. Else the specimen from the collection (Sir J. Richardson) may have the location incorrect. I think we should keep this as Orphanostigma spp., as all the descriptions referred to are not sufficient for clear diagnosis.
