Similiar species:

"differs from Comostola pyrrhogona in there being a slight rufous tooth projecting from the costal fascia of fore wing at middle of cell and a long oblique postmedial tooth; a slight tooth from inner margin of forewing near outer angle and from inner margin of hind wing beyond middle." Hampson, 1895.
