Taxonomic Information

Chabula Moore, [1886] species known from the Indian subcontinent.
Chabula acamasalis (Walker, 1859). Sri Lanka; Myanmar; (Hindustan) India.
Chabula telphusalis (Walker, 1859). India: Sikkim, Meghalaya (Khasi Hills), Nicobar Island, Assam, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh.
Chabula trivitralis (Swinhoe, 1895). Indian: Meghalaya (Khasi Hills, Shillong).

Similar species: Chabula telphusalis Walker, [1859]
Chabula telphusalis is separated from Chabula acamasalis as the patch before the post-medial line on FW is more reniform and does not touch costa, pale patches beyond postmedial on FW & HW, near the tornus, are obsolete.
