Note: This is a little studied genus in India. A few of the individuals resemble Casminola johannstumpfi, which is so far only known from Nepal. Casminola spinosa and Casminola and seminigra are similar species to Casminola johannstumpfi; best separated by examining specimens and/or genitalia. Casminola chionobasis (Hampson, 1901)
is the only species listed from India in the Nolinae checklist (Joshi et al 2019). Casminola pulchella is reported in Moths of Goa, 2021. Image 181. However, this ID needs confirmation as this seems close to Calonola ectrocta (Sri Lanka) or Calonola argyria (India).
