Subspecies in India
Barsine linga spilosomoides as Western Himalayan subspecies based on Volynkin & Cerny, 2017 on 3 March 2021. Volynkin & Cerny, (2017) state that Barsine linga spilosomoides differs from Barsine linga linga (Figs 17, 18) by strongly reduced black pattern elements, we have records from Western Himalaya which have quite strong black elements; hence this needs to be investigated.
