Fig. 3. Diagnosis (based on Cui et al 2019): The discal spots of the hindwing in O. carnearia and O. annulifera are larger than those in the other two species, and the discal spots of the forewing in O. carnearia are smaller than those in O. annulifera. Based on Hampson (1895), underside of O. annulifera lacks the postmedial line, which is present in pnu685. 
Numerous similar extralimital species; best separated by genitalia based on Cui et al. (2019).
