Luxiaria obliquata Moore, 1888 and Luxiaria postvittata Walker, 1861 are now placed in Calletaera Warren, 1895.

Luxiaria emphatica Prout, 1925, also known from S. India has a black spot on the inner margin of forewing. 
Luxiaria fuscaria Kirti, Goyal & Kaur, 2012 and Luxiaria ochrearia Kirti, Goyal & Kaur, 2012 were erroneously reported as new species by Goyal (2010).
