Diagnosis (As per Moths of Borneo)
Idaea phaeocrossa, Idaea vacillata and Idaea craspedotata have a fawn ground colour and are fasciated and bordered with reddish or dull purple. In I. phaeocrossa the discal spots are not conspicuous. The borders and fasciae are broader than in I. craspedota, which has discal spots, but not as broad as in I. vacillata Walker where discal spots are also inconspicuous.
