Note from SS: Holloway reports in MOB that "there are two related species: thwaitesii Moore ( + apicalis Hampson, syn. n.), from Sri Lanka, with a pentagonal male eighth tergite; an undescribed species from S. India with an H-shaped eighth tergite." Given this, I believe that the G. javanica-like individual from Andhra Pradesh (MOI-pnj182) is either thwaitesii Moore or the undescribed species from S. India. Differences described in genitalia.
