Brevipecten Hampson, 1894 species known from the Indian subregion. 
Brevipecten captata (Butler, 1889). India: Himachal Pradesh (TL: Kangra) 
Brevipecten purpureotincta Hampson, 1895. India: Himachal Pradesh (TL: Simla).
Brevipecten neglecta Hacker & Fibiger, 2007. Nepal (TL).

OD: Brevipecten purpureotincta Hampson, 1895. Trans. Ent. Soc. Lond. Pg. 303. Text at https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/page/47589786#page/339/mode/1up. Lepindex lists this as Oglasa purpureotincta Hampson, 1895. Description is very similar to captata but the basal half of FW is rufous brown.

Brevipecten neglecta Hacker & Fibiger, 2007. Nepal (TL). 
MOT Vol. 3, Part 2, Plate 35/1. Medial spot shape is different.
