FW whitish-ochreous, on posterior half thinly sprinkled with ochreous-brown ; inner margin indistinctly suffused with ochreous-fuscous : cilia ochreous-whitish, with two cloudy ochreous-brownish lines.

Ptochoryctis galbanea (Meyrick, 1914) : Sri Lanka – 
FW dark fuscous, with a faint purplish or ochreous gloss; extreme costal edge ochreous-whitish : cilia fuscous, tips pale

FW glossy white, costal edge blackish towards base, 3 or 4 minute blackish specks belore lower part of termen, cilia white

Ptochoryctis ochrograpta Meyrick, 1923 : Burma – 
FW shining white, an ochreous line from 3/4 of costa to tornus, obtusely angulated in middle ; an ochreous marginal line round apical part of costa, and faint dots on termen ; cilia white, an ochreous artemedian line, beyond this dark fuscous bars on upper part of termen

Ptochoryctis scionota Meyrick, 1906 : Sri Lanka – 
FW shining white, faintly suffused towards dorsum with ochreous, cilia white & chreous tinged towards tornus

Ptochoryctis simbleuta Meyrick, 1907 : Assam – (closest, but still distinct)
FW white, with some irregularly scattered black scales, especially in disc ; a patch of cloudy  fuscous suffusion extending  from disc beyond middle to tornus ; a premarginal series of black dots from 4/5 of costa to tornus : cilia white, with fine black median line, apical third grey except above apex  and on tornus  - pl 3 - https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/item/136734#page/503/mode/1up
