Altipolia sonamargensis.
Identified by Mr Piero Toni

KR : Hi GI, No more pictures, seems I took only one. There are some other moths very similar but also different - will upload those (in case there is gender dimorphism in this moth ?/)

Altipolia sonamargensis Plante, 1985; Nota lepid. 8 (4): Txt 365, Image 366- f. 3-4 available at https://archive.org/details/notalepidopterol81985soci/page/365/mode/1up
This may be Altipolia sonamargensis. but it is almost similar to Altipolia mosaica sp. n and is best distinguished via genitalia. However this has "orange-yellow scales around the edges of the kidney and orbicular markings, as well as along the claviform and basal stripe" In the image uploaded there appears to be a wee bit of vague yellow colour in the middle, the placement not being clear ( ie wing/abdomen). Also the b/w images on page 366(3/4) does not match this entirely. Hence the request for an alternate image if available.
