Diagnosis. The forewing length is 8.0–10.0 mm in males and 10.0 mm in females. The species varies in its size and the shape of the postmedial fascia but the genitalia structures display only limited variability in the uncus width and the shape of the valva apex. Miltochrista floccosa is superficially most reminiscent of M. ochracea (Figs 62, 63) endemic to South India but can be easily distinguished by its considerably smaller size, bipectinate male antenna (it is ciliate in M. ochracea), and the more diffuse forewing markings.
The markings are not a great match, but this individual has bipectinnate antennae. Needs some more investigation.
