Hypsopygia nostralis (Guenée, 1854) is a widespread species, with type locality as Brazil and found widely in Americas and Africa. There are numerous records from India on iNat. But, "A catalogue of Indian Pyraloidea (Lepidoptera)" lists as Ocrasa nostralis Guenée, 1854 in unconfirmed list. I would leave this at genus level for now.
