Similar species: Dolgoma rectoides
Morphologically, D. rectoides (illustrated by Dubatolov (2012) is very similar to D. recta, but can be distinguished by its bright dark yellow forewing coloration (that is ochreous yellow in D. recta), and pure pale yellow hindwing (that has fuscous irroration in D. recta).
