Oroplema spp.
Not sure if this is simplex or oyamana.
Oroplema simplex (Warren, 1899)
1) OD : Epiplema simplex, Novitates zoologicae, Vol 6 pg 322 #26 - https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/page/3258924#page/354/mode/1up - described from S. India (Nilgiris)
2) A Taxonomic Revision of the Korean Epipleminae, with Phylogenetic Comments on the Involved Genera, Sohn & Yen – Fig 2 (T), & remarks in description of O. oyamana – “This species (oyomana) was misidentified as either Oroplema simplex (Warren, 1899) (as Epiplema simplex) or Dysaethria indignaria (Walker, 1866) (as Epiplema indignaria) in the Japanese and Taiwanese literature for a long time. However, the true Oroplema simplex is exclusively distributed in S. India and Sri Lanka”
As per this above article, “Oroplema simplex can be distinguished from oyamana by having a narrower dark patch at the forewing hind margin and a straighter antemedial line of the hindwing.” However, the individual in this observation does not have a very narrow dark patch at FW dorsum & appears to more closely resemble the images of oyamana. However, going by the earlier statement on distribution, this could be simplex as it was observed in S. India (Coorg).
Oroplema oyamana (Matsumura, 1931), E & SE Asia, NE Himalaya, N. India

Also described by Seitz in The Macrolepidoptera of the World, Vol 10 pg 588 as Epiplema simplex with distribution as N. India (hence should be oyamana)
Refer Observation_283211 of Geeta & remarks

GI: Well, somehow the description and the images given in Fig 2 in the Sohn and Yen -- Korean Epiplemina paper don't really match. Please compare images Q,R,S and T in fig 2 on page 7. Image Q closely resembles the image in Observation_283211 uploaded by me, where as the image T is more close to the image you have uploaded here. Also the antimedian line is straight where as in Observation 283211 its broken and not straight. The dark patch at the FW hind margin is not narrow ( I really can't assess how much is considered 'narrow') in either your observation here or in mine ie Observation 283211. But merely going by the images and the antimedian line I should think this is O simplex and mine definitely is not.

GI: Agree Oroplema simplex (Warren, 1899)
SS: I am unable to decide whether this is simplex or oyamana. I am uploading what I believe is Oroplema oyamana (Matsumura, 1931) from Nagaland. This is a really good match with Fig. 2R of Korean Epiplemina paper.
JD : Sohn & Yen state that O. simplex is exclusively distributed in S. India & Sri Lanka. This does not rule out O. oyamana from S. India, though the range is mentioned as N India & NE Himalaya?
