Gonoclostera argentata Oberthür, 1914 is an extralimital species (China), externally similar to Gonoclostera aurosigna (Hampson, 1895); best separated by examining genitalia.
Note: The record of this species from Kerala, is a new record from S. India. This either represents a range extension or is a different species. Examination of genitalia is required.
