JD : this is a Corgatha spp. ; resembles & possibly is close to Corgatha atrimargo Hampson, 1910, that has been described from SE Asia.
There are a few observations from NE India on iNat that have been identified as atrimargo. However all these as well as this observation (being from S. India) may need further investigation & comparison with other Corgatha spp. found in India.
