Arora, G.S. 1976. A taxonomic revision of the Indian species of the family Cossidae Lepidoptera. Records of the Zoological Survey of India. Vol. 69: 1-343. Pg. 19. Antennae and genitalia separate Catopta cashmirensis (Moore, 1879) and Catopta sikkimensis (Arora, 1965). However, given that this record is from the NW Himalaya, it is likely to be Catopta cashmirensis.
