FW whitish with patches of ochreous with rufous, & black irroration. Triangular patch on costa near apex is olive brown, reniform is black. HW white suffised with fuscous except for basal & inner area.
Similar spp from Indian region –
Atacira chalybsa (Hampson, 1891) – FW leaden grey. Triangular patch on costa near apex is red-brown, renidorm is rufous. HW grey suffused with fuscous brown with basal & inner area white.
Seitz also lists Atacira glauca (Prout, 1928) from India
