This individual from Kerala is close to Laelia umbrina with the following differences:
Second spot near dorsum is absent. Last spot is shifted in as well as the 4th spot in the series of black spots on forewing, forming an even curve. In umbrina, the 3rd-6th spots are in a straight line and not on an even curve. HW is dark brown in umbrina, while in this individual it is pale brown.
