Similar species
Glyphodes orbiferalis OD at Hampson Vol 4, pg 360, # 5052 for G. orbiferalis. Also at MON 142/17, which I believe is incorrectly identified and seems to be Glyphodes prothymalis.
Per Hampson, Glyphodes orbiferalis differs from prothymalis as below
FW being shorter and broader and less produced at apex; triangular hyaline patch is larger; no white discocellular line; post-medial patch larger and rounded. HW with marginal band even throughout; cilia black at base.
