gives Dasychira nilgirica and grotei as junior synonyms for Dasychira horsfieldi
Hamp. III. Het. viii, Pl CXLI fig.13 & 14 as Dasychira nilgirica
Acc to Holloway in MoB -C horsfieldii " Males occur in two forms: with uniform grey forewings or with forewings darker grey distal to the antemedial." The same seems to be true for nilgirica too.
The fasciae in the wings of nilgirica are slightly different from that of horsfieldii.
I believe this might need some discussion.
