Known subspecies are dicyma from Afghanistan vide Wiltshire, 1958, New species and forms of Lepidoptera from Afghanistan and Iraq. JBNHS. 55 (2): 230. Check plate 5 for dicyma.
Other subspecies is H. m. microstricta. This individual, with the entire black medial band may be a new subspecies.
