Similar species: Bastilla crameri
Bastilla praetermissa has the post-discal line from apex to tornus completely smooth and concave, while in crameri, this line is slightly sinuous. Also, praetermissa has a small black spot on the broad white band, FW, located closer to costa than tornus. Another, similar-sized, black spot can be seen on near the tornus margin of FW.
