Similar species: O. submontrans
From images of submontrans and avicularia, I can see the following difference:
avicularia: has double medial spots on FW and basal spot; cilia red on both wings
submontrans: single medial spot on FW; cilia white tipped on both wings and red marginal line. Lacks basal spot.
