Cyclidia rectificata

Mass emergence of this species at a moth screen with a 160 W mercury vapour bulb on 28 and 29 August 2018 at Lama Camp, Eaglenest WLS. Estimated 300 individuals in front of, back of and below the screen. The individuals were so many that they sat on top of each other on the screen. Also oberved at other locations in the landscape, with swarms seen flying during the day from bushes, when disturbed by passing cattle beyond Shergaon. A mass emergence of Obeidia lucifera also happened alongside at the moth screen and these two species virtually left no species for other species on themoth screen. On 31 August 2018, the number of individuals of both species at the moth screen dropped significantly.
