As I reared this moth artificially... therefore come across some facts which are as below...
1st inster larvae are reddish with few hairs and little bit glossy with prominent body segments.
They took shelter in semi moist soil or under decaying leaves.
Mainly feeds on night.
They feed on algae or dried moss, fungi, lichen or rotten & decaying plant parts.
They scanvenging foods at night but 90 percent of their diet are plant material as in my observation.
