There is a lot of confusion regarding the synonymies of this species.
Lepindex gives this as Euproctis bifascia Hampson 1891.
Unable to verify the name change to Nygmia bifascia
This is quite distinctive from E leithiana and E semisignata which some consider as synonymies.
Matches the description given by Hampson.
