Purpurata obfuscalis

JD : Patania iopasalis, cf.. There appear to be two sets of images on MOI with some differences. Most S, Indian images on MOI including this one - the discal mark is well separated from the post-medial (contiguous or conjoined in others). The medial areas on both wings are less suffused & bright yellow.

SS: I agree. Most S. Indian species appear to be paler yellow as well. Two forms or two species? I will add this note as an observation and publish.
