Notes (optional)
Similar species: Protuliocnemis biplagiata (Moore, [1887]). Two spurs on hind tibia in castalaria; four spurs in biplagiata; best way to separate Protuliocnemis biplagiata and castalaria. Currently, castalaria known from N. India. Seitz, separation is not certain. See below. Not certain whether Protuliocnemis biplagiata or castalaria. We probably need to create an Protuliocnemis spp. page.

http://www.mothsofborneo.com/part-9/geometrini/geometrini_27_3.php for separation between castalaria and biplagiata. Two spurs on hind tibia in castalaria; four spurs in biplagiata.
Vide Seitz, hindwing with postmedian slender and slightly incurved between the 3rd radial and 2nd median (in castalaria thick and quite straight), apical spot of hindwing brighter, predominently reddish-range.
SS: Going with Protuliocnemis biplagiata as hindwing with postmedian slender and slightly incurved between the 3rd radial and 2nd median and distribution.
