Idaea egenaria (Walker, 1861)

GI: This is I gemmaria and not I egenaria. Going by the references in 273057, both the iNaturalist image and the description in the OD or the image on MOB does not match this accurately enough to be identified as I egenaria. I do agree that the slight twist in the band is typical of egenaria and I too had identified the KMTR moth as I egenaria which matched egenaria image on MOB quite a bit; but Dieter disagreed after comparing it with the specimens from the museum. I will try and share the discussion we had on this as soon as i can lay my hands on it.
This image as well as the one in 273057 match quite closely with what we have reported as I gemmaria in out paper on KMTR.
Hence to me this is I gemmaria not egenaria
