Diasemia impulsalis (Walker, 1859)
1) OD : Isopteryx impulsalis? 1859b: Part XVII.–Pyralites. – List of the Specimens of Lepidopterous Insects in the Collection of the British Museum, London 17: 255–508. Pg 404 - https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/item/120189#page/424/mode/1up

3) Fauna of British India, Moths of India, Vol 4 pg 410-411 #5176, as a synonym of Diasemia litterata
Similar spp. –
Diasemia reticularis (Linnaeus, 1761) – Widespread in tropics including India, differences with accalis can be seen here - https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/partpdf/194761
Differences in impulsalis vs reticularis that I can see – paler ochreous brown vs dark or blackish brown, lunulate whitish mark below end of cell vs triangular, costa concolorous with darks spots vs costa dark, posterior medial dark patch quadrate & touching inner margin, vs oval & not touching inner margin, Also see -http://pyralids.plattenbaukasten.de/index.php?reticularis
Diasemia lunalis Gaede, 1916 – Africa, Arabia – very similar but larger, Kleinschmetterlinge aus Äthiopien (syn. oressarcha Martin, 1956) - https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/partpdf/215554 pg 4 & Pl 1 fig 7 in German

Some of the images of Diasemia accalis on the MOI website should be impulsalis
SS: Not fully convinced of ID. Some elements of the description match, but others don't. And there are no images that I can find online. Not on iNat, BOLD or museums. I do agree agree that some of the individuals on MOI are not accalis and should be shifted to Diasemia spp. page.
