https://www.papua-insects.nl/insect%20orders/Lepidoptera/Euteliidae/Euteliinae/Penicillaria/Penicillaria%20simplex.htm, mentions similar looking species & their differences

SS: Agree with ID.

GI: Some observations, that is confusing me:
1.Moths of Nepal images and digital moths of Asia images do not match. In fact Moths of Nepal part 2 , Pl 42/12 is similar to what is given as P simplex in http://www.jpmoth.org/~dmoth/Digital_Moths_of_Asia/90_NOCTUOIDEA/03_EUTELIDAE/01_EUTELIINAE/01_Penicillaria/Penicillaria_simplex/Penicillaria_simplex.htm
2. Except in Observation 270775 I don't see much details or the white of the HW
3. If you look at https://www.papua-insects.nl/insect%20orders/Lepidoptera/Euteliidae/Euteliinae/Penicillaria/Penicillaria%20simplex.htm then the dorsal flap that is mentioned is not to be seen here. But even at that site the enlarged image of simplex shows the dorsal flap. Colour and patterns though it is said cannot be used for id, yet it is differing in the different references given
So I am not able to conclude which one factor/factors you have used to id this as simplex. Can you be more specific?
