RPS: I have a very similar unidentified moth in my photos from Arunachal Pradesh (2014 records) and in the research collections at NCBS also since a long time and this resembles that individual a lot. Will upload photos soon! Its FW UP is not as heavily marked as the one here. Any other species found in India?
