SS: Antipercnia belluaria or Xenoplia foraria female. Needs more investigation.
Antipercnia belluaria has antennae of male minutely serrate and fasciculate. Forewing more elongate, distinctly visible when seen together. Forewings are not pale white, but suffused with more grey. Wingspan: 72 mm.
Xenoplia foraria has antennae of male with short stiff branches. Forewings are paler white. Many individuals of foraria have rufous markings on the abdomen, which belluaria seem to lack (pers. obs. SS). Wingspan: 48-56 mm.
Smaller size, paler white, forewing shape and antennal pectinnations of male are the best way to separate foraria from belluaria.
SS: Antipercnia belluaria, female based on wing shape
