3) Barsine inflexa, A review of the Barsine inflexa Moore, 1878 and the B. flavodiscalis (Talbot, 1926) species-groups, with descriptions of six new species from Indochina, India and China, Volynkin & Cerný - https://tb.plazi.org/GgServer/html/7A7B9F16FFB5FF89FF45FF7DFEA61305
4) Barsine inflexa, Arctiid Moths of India, Vol. 2 pg 75
5) An overview of genera and subgenera of the Asura / Miltochrista generic complex Part 1 …, Volynkin, Huang & Ivanova
Similar species (refer Volynkin & Cerný for diagnosis) –
Moorasura victoria (Volynkin & Cerný, 2019), Meghalaya, Myanmar - very similar to inflexa, can be separated by its slightly narrower forewing and thinner transverse lines and thinner costal margin edge. However, best separated by genitalia - https://tb.plazi.org/GgServer/html/7A7B9F16FFB5FF8FFF45FA78FA2C1453
Moorasura dejeani (Volynkin & Cerný, 2019), SW China (extra-limital) – much larger size, pale red HW (pale ochreous with pink suffusion in inflexa & victoria)
Moorasura kanchenjunga (Volynkin & Cerný, 2019), Sikkim – broader FW with more elongated apex, has the postmedial line being angled opposite the cell (W-like curved opposite the cell in inflexa & victoria), connection of antemedial & medial lines not enlarged
Moorasura gloriosa (Moore, 1878), NE India - antemedial line not wavy, connection of antemedial & medial lines not enlarged
Moorasura thagyamin (Volynkin & Cerný, 2019), Myanmar – FW costa has narrow blackish edge, connection of antemedial & medial lines smaller, pale red HW
Sarbine hreblayi (Volynkin & Černý, 2019), Thailand, Laos (extra-limital) – similar to Moorasura thagyamin, but differs by its narrower and darker yellow stripes on forewing veins and darker hindwing
See observation no _258100 for Moorasura gloriosa
GI: Agree with ID
SS: Agree with Moorasura inflexa, but still not 100% about separation from Moorasura victoria. One additional feature that I notice in all influx versus victoria images in the paper above is that the W shape of the PM line is much deeper in victoria; shallower in inflexa. Uploading images of inflexa and gloriosa.
