This is a new for me. iNaturalist ID is Heracula discivitta
RS: Interesting record! A new family for MOI records!
OD: Heracula discivitta. Moore, 1866. On the Lepidopterous Insects of Bengal Proc. zool. Soc. Lond. 1865 (3). Pg 804, Pl. 43, fig 2; TL: Darjeeling (Text https://archive.org/details/proceedingsofgen65zool/page/804/mode/1up?view=theater Plate https://archive.org/details/proceedingsofgen65zool/page/n865/mode/1up?view=theater)
Swinhoe, 1923. A revision of the genera of the family Liparidae Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist. (9) 11 (61). Page 81.
Kishida in Haruta, 1993. Moths of Nepal 2 Tinea 13 (Suppl. 3), Pg. 82, Pl. 55, Fig. 6.
Kishida in Haruta, 1994. Moths of Nepal 3 Tinea 14 (Suppl. 1), Pg. 73.
Wang, H., Holloway, J. D., Wahlberg, N., Wang, M., & Nylin, S. (2019). Molecular phylogenetic and morphological studies on the systematic position of Heracula iscivitta reveal a new subfamily of Pseudobistonidae (Lepidoptera: Geometroidea). Systematic Entomology, 44, 211–225.
GI: Agree with ID. This moth is indeed different from the moths that are seen under the Super Family Geometroidea.
Since we would be adding a new family to the MOI website, the following reference may also be included under the reference section.

SS: Agree with ID. Additional reference.
