ID : Loepa diffunoccidentalis
SS: How did you identify to species level? If I recall, we saw many small Lope, >70 mm wingspan, which will all be L. sikkima. But I have no idea how to separate these species. Male, based on wing shape.
GI: 1.This was a much bigger Loepa. 2. The markings on the FW tip negates sikkima, katinka. 3. The blue postmedial ( sub-marginal? ) line above the margin is seen in diffunoccidentalis
SS: There are 12-13 species known from India. Do you know how to separate them?
SS: Staying with genus level ID.
