Seitz, Vol. 4, pl. 1c for castalaria.
http://www.mothsofborneo.com/part-9/geometrini/geometrini_27_3.php for separation between castalaria and biplagiata. Two spurs on hind tibia in castalaria; four spurs in biplagiata.
Vide Seitz, Hindwing with postmedian slender and slightly incurved between the 3rd radial and 2nd median (in castalaria here thick and quite straight), apical spot of hindwing brighter, predominently reddish-range. In this individual, the postmedial is thick and quite straight, again supporting castalaria.
Examining the individuals on MOI applying the post medial as a diagnosis; most of the S. Indian individuals are biplagiata while all the Himalayan individuals are castalaria.
I should have clarified that this individual has 2 spurs on hind tibia; visible when I zoom in on the images I have.
