ID: Homodes spp
JD : I think this could be Homodes perilitha Hampson, 1926.
Check the comparisons on MOB - https://www.mothsofborneo.com/part-15-16/miscellaneous_iii/miscellaneousiii_6_5.php
OD : https://archive.org/details/descriptionsofne1926brit/page/142/mode/1up?view=theater
GI: I did and thought it might be. But the distribution being that of S India I hesitated. Also the description of Homodes iomolybda Meyrick, 1889. in OD: Meyrick, E. (1889): On some Lepidoptera from New Guinea. — The Transactions of the Entomological Society of London for the Year 1889: 455-522.Page 477,No.70 [ https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/item/50992#page/511/mode/1up ] you might has some matches; this species is found in Meghalaya. However the images seen in other sites of iomolybda (that are largely females) is not the same as what i have uploaded. I am uploading one more image for you all to review, the lighting is different in this.
JD : does not seem to be a very good match to H. iomolybda
SS: Reviewed this but struggled ID with certainty. Staying at genus level.
