SS: Cusiala raptaria (Walker, 1860). Agree with ID as post medial is rounded; not pointed.
OD: Boarmia raptaria Walker, 1860. List Specimens Lepid Insects Colln Br. Mus. 21: 373. TL: Sri Lanka. Text at https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/item/120012#page/639/mode/1up.
Cusiala raptaria Walker In: Moore, [1887]; Lepid. Ceylon 3 (4): 408; Text at https://archive.org/stream/lepidopteraofcey03moor#page/408/mode/1up
Hampson, FBI, Vol. 3, Pg. 248, # 3360. As Biston raptaria.
Different forms of raptaria below.
Butler, A.G. 1893. Illustrations of typical specimens of Lepidoptera Heterocera in the collection of the British Museum. Part 9. Pg. 36, 143, pl. 169 (CLXIX)/7. Text at https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/item/75389#page/155/mode/1up. For rufifasciata (fig. 7), raptaria (fig. 13), suisasa (fig. 1). Plate at https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/item/180014#page/219/mode/1up
Cusiala suiasasa Walker In: Moore, [1887]; Lepid. Ceylon 3 (4): 407; Text at https://archive.org/stream/lepidopteraofcey03moor#page/407/mode/1up
Cusiala disterminata Walker In: Moore, [1887]; Lepid. Ceylon 3 (4): 408; Text at https://archive.org/stream/lepidopteraofcey03moor#page/408/mode/1up
YS: Keep as cf. ? or Cusialia spp.
I can't seem to see the difference in the post-medial band curvature in this specimen easily, especially when I look at other specimens online, would it be safer to leave it as Cusialia spp. It does look more like the inaturlist images, without the obvious double angle. But the shape of the post-medial line does not seem very different to me.
GI: Post medial not clear. Best left as Cuisala spp
SS: Publishing as Cusiala spp. as post-medial not completely diagnostic.
