JD : This is quite likely Aeolanthes cyclantha Meyrick, 1923 from S.India
OD : https://archive.org/details/exoticmicrolepid02meyr/page/611/mode/1up?view=theater
Similar looking to the A. rhodochrysa from N & NE India, but the HW dark fuscous colour would be diagnostic.
Otherwise, when comparing the images in Meyrick, cyclantha FW seems to be more mottled, with the tornal ochreous blotch much more well marked. -

SS: Aeolanthes cyclantha Meyrick, 1923. Yes, agree with ID. We can go with this species based on its distribution with a provision that HW needed to separate with certainty from A. rhodochrysa. Also the apical white blotch is more prominent in Aeolanthes cyclantha, when compared with A. rhodochrysa, as visible from multiple images of the latter on MOI.
