Unfertilized egg
SS: Did you see the adult female lay its eggs?
Yes, it was raised in captivity from the caterpillar found on Terminalia bellirica (MOI-pnq118).
The unfertilized eggs came out of her egg sac while she was stretching her wings after emergence, she was placed on the same host plant where the caterpillar was found initially and observed further on each day from 26/12/2022 till 02/01/2023, where she laid new eggs (observation submitted today). The female stayed on the exact same spot but couldn't be found today but this clutch of eggs new was found instead.
