PS: Cyana sp.
SS: Cyana moelleri (Elwes, 1890)
Cyana watsoni or Cyana moelleri. Needs further investigation. Based on Singh et al 2020, Cyana watsoni or Cyana moelleri cannot be separated based on external morphology, and genitalia needs examination. Hwoever, based on distribution, watsoni is the NE India species, while moelleri is the E. Himalayan species; hence this can be provisionally identified as Cyana moelleri (Elwes, 1890) (Singh et al 2020), pg. 31, Fig. 80-83.
JD : In Singh et al, it is mentioned that C. moelleri is allopatric with watsoni & the distribution is from E.Himalaya - Sikkim & Nepal, but does not mention Bhutan or eastwards to Arunachal where this current observation is from. C. watsoni is also distributed in NE India - Assam & Meghalaya & further east to N. Myanmar & Yunnan that are adjacent to Arunachal. Hence it would be difficult to assign the species purely on geographical location in this case. There is also another similar species mentioned from Thailand & SE China - C. ariadne Volynkin & Černý, 2019.
We could provisionally id this as moelleri but with the above remarks
